Brady Barnett has been an independent producer and engineer in Los Angeles and Nashville since 1996. He is currently owner of the music production company Of Sound Mind Productions, located south of Nashville, TN. His impressive list of clients includes multi-platinum selling and Grammy-award winning artists such as ‘N Sync, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Brandy, Ozzy Osbourne, Shaquille O’Neal, Bob Seger, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, George Jones, George Strait, Reba, Lonestar, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, and Josh Turner, to name a few.
In addition to his production and engineering work, Brady co-authored the book Multi-Platinum Pro Tools (published worldwide by Focal Press) and is
co-owner of Multi-Platinum, LLC, which specializes in producing high-end instructional videos featuring award-winning multi-platinum engineers and producers. These videos have been sold in countries all over the world to rave reviews.
Brady is a member of The Audio Engineering Society (AES), the American Federation of Musicians and is a voting member of the Grammy panel (NARAS.) Among his numerous accomplishments, Brady was the recipient of the 2007 MTSU Distinguished Young Alumni Award for his achievements in the music industry and a recent inductee into The MTSU Recording Industry Wall of Fame.
